Around 200,000 items per day, 50 million items per year are collected, sorted and dispersed by our package and mail brands. These divisions represent the most extensive, fully owned and controlled network in New Zealand, with multiple connections to our international alliances.

Network Courier

Freightways employs a multi-brand strategy in the network courier segment via New Zealand Couriers, Post Haste Couriers, Castle Parcels and NOW Couriers. It’s a strategy that enables Freightways to be responsive and flexible when meeting customer service needs and price point.

Point-to-Point

SUB60, Kiwi Express, STUCK and Security Express make up our point-to-point segment. Characterised by responsiveness and real-time customer interaction, these brands operate successfully in a highly competitive space through definitive growth in niche markets.

Business Mail

Growth and innovation in a traditional sector symbolises the success of our mail brands, DX Mail and Dataprint. Both brands strive to reinvigorate this conventional sector with compelling products and services, facilitated by knowledgeable, hard-working people. Together they form a full-service suite across all facets of business mail and mail house management.

A deep understanding of logistics and systemised warehousing layered with up-to-the-minute security know-how: it’s a division that calls upon three of Freightways’ core aptitudes, executing them successfully into a high growth vertical.

New Zealand

The Information Management Group (TIMG) is a nationwide provider with locations in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Hastings, New Plymouth, Palmerston North and Wellington. The services that make up the Group ensure all information management aspects are catered for; imaging and document capture/extraction, customised workflow solutions, data storage, cloud backup, disaster recovery solutions, app development, physical document/file storage, document/e-Waste destruction and more.

Australia

A combination of transference of skill and acquisition has built The Information Management Group (TIMG AU) into a wide and relevant business in all states and territories of Australia, across the information management spectrum. Brands include Archive Security, FileSaver, DataBank, Shred-X and Med-X.

The success of Freightways is due in part to aptitude of our internal service providers—stand-alone, specific competency businesses that support our portfolio, across brands and borders. It’s a strategy that reinforces our holistic focus and offers an element of control across our networks that is the envy of our competitors.

Linehaul

Connecting up New Zealand’s cities and towns with large capacity road haul for our Express Package and Business Mail division is the competency of our linehaul business, Parceline Express. It’s a business that sees our big rigs on the main arterial routes of New Zealand every evening. Parceline Express is also the crucial link between our main Express Package and Business Mail hubs, and Fieldair to create the only fully owned and controlled, end-to-end network in New Zealand.

Air

Fieldair is our fleet of 737 jets that connect our main cities, regions and islands several times a day using airports in Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch. Unlike many of our competitors, ownership and control in the air means exactly that—the ability to flex and manoeuvre our network when our customers need it most. Fieldair also offers avionics support to external customers.

Freightways Information Services (FIS)

Building, protecting and maintaining the vital digital infrastructure of the Freightways brands is the job of FIS. Across brands, business verticals and the upward curve of end customer needs, is a team with a prerequisite for digital know-how, capability, responsiveness and the fortitude to run this dynamic, digital platform.
